SAUNA MAGAZINE TOOK A BATH

The Finnish Sauna Society chose Taskut to remake its Sauna-lehti magazine. Founded as early as 1946, the magazine cherishes the Finnish bathing tradition but is not afraid to breathe in the fresh winds of modern times. Taskut decided to give the mag a comprehensive facial, refreshing and rejuvenating its look all over.

Alternating columns and an airy layout give the magazine a whole new, modern composure. Times typesetting and earthy colours represent its traditions.

The Finnish Sauna Society will be 75 years this year. Adhering to an ideology, the society gathers people interested in or enthusiastic about Finnish traditional bathing into the same steam room. The magazine is an important and well-read source of information for the members of the Society. Its readers do not hesitate to give feedback to its makers.

As a new partner, Taskut has been warmly welcomed. Readers’ activeness shows in the numerous spontaneous story ideas – written articles even – sent to the editorial board.

The Sauna-lehti magazine is published four times a year on 40 to 48 pages.
